【人降鈣素(CT)ELISA測定試劑盒概念及定義】降鈣素(calcitonin，CT)是一種含有32個(gè)氨基酸的直線型多肽類激素，在人體里是由甲狀腺的濾泡旁細(xì)胞(parafollicularcells，又稱C細(xì)胞)制造。在魚類、爬蟲類、鳥類、哺乳類身上都有發(fā)現(xiàn)這種激素。主要功能是降低血鈣。但降鈣素通常對(duì)于調(diào)節(jié)人體血液中鈣離子(Ca2+)的恒定并沒有很顯著的重要性。是由甲狀腺C細(xì)胞分泌的。換言之，甲狀腺C細(xì)胞是分泌降鈣素的內(nèi)分泌細(xì)胞。胞體較大，呈圓形、卵圓形或不規(guī)則形，單個(gè)嵌在甲狀腺濾泡壁上，貼近基膜，或成群散在濾泡間組織中，又稱濾泡旁細(xì)胞。
