玻璃鱗片膠泥作為防腐層zui簡單的方法，就是使流體介質與基體隔絕，而膠泥涂料通常存在孔隙，流體介質（水、酸、堿等）小分子的直徑一般比涂層的孔隙要小，加上這些與涂層接觸的介質都是直線地通過，而涂層又不可能涂得很厚（否則要產生裂紋），一般的膠泥涂料即使可以較好地耐其所接觸的介質腐蝕，但它抵擋不住介質向基體的擴散滲透。所以，普通的防腐涂料一般只能作為大氣防腐而不能起到襯里的作用，尤其在液相介質和溫度較高的場合。玻璃鱗片膠泥的加入使涂料發(fā)生了二方面的變化，一是可以加工成很厚而不要擔心會發(fā)生裂紋，這是因為玻璃鱗片把涂層分割成許多小的空間而大大地降低了涂層的收縮應力和膨脹系數(shù)；二是由于玻璃鱗片膠泥的多層平行與基體排列，使介質擴散滲透的路線變得彎彎曲曲，增大了介質滲透擴散至基體的阻力。用于涂料中的玻璃鱗片膠泥具有魚鱗效應：成千上萬的鱗片交錯排列，形成涂層內復雜曲折的滲透擴散途徑，使得腐蝕介質的擴散路線變得相當曲折，很難達到基材。

特點：
乙烯基玻璃鱗片膠泥擁有優(yōu)良的耐化學介質、高溫濕態(tài)腐蝕性氣體性能。
極低的水蒸氣滲透了、硬化收縮率、線膨脹系數(shù)低。
充分抵擋高溫及溫度驟變，較低的磨耗性能。
常溫硬化，成型施工簡單，修補容易。
適用范圍：
石油貯槽、化學品油船、鐵路橋梁等的表面涂覆。

使用方法：
鋼結構便面除油去污，除銹等級不低于Sa2.0或St3標準；混凝土表面清理干凈，表面含水率 <6%，底漆涂刷1至2道，待干后施工。
用手工刮刀刮鏝成1-2mm（每道）的膠泥層，數(shù)小時硬化后再設計要求施工至規(guī)定厚度。
在彎角或者形狀突變處適當增加厚度，或用FPR增強，zui后用漆罩面1至2道。
包裝和保存：
本品用25kg鐵通包裝，在陰涼干燥處密封保存，25℃下有效保存期為三個月。

Using method:
