Background:Members of ADAM family are cell surface proteins with a unique structure possessing both potential adhesion and protease domains. The extracellular region of ADAM9 shows significant amino acid sequence homology to hemorrhagic snake venom proteins, including the metalloprotease and disintegrin domains. The expression of ADAM9 is upregulated by retinoic acid and vitamin D3.

Storage: Store at –20 ºC for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20ºC. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 ºC.
