2、磁選。磁選主要用于除去石英砂中的磁性礦物，如可以通過強磁性機除去赤鐵礦、褐鐵礦、黑云母等弱磁性礦物，而強磁性礦物如磁鐵礦則可以通過弱磁選機除去。

3、浮選。浮選用于除去石英砂中的長石、云母等一些磁選無法除去的雜質(zhì)，進一步提高其純度。

4、酸浸。酸浸是利用石英不溶于酸（HF酸除外），而其它雜質(zhì)礦物能被酸液溶解的特點，可以實現(xiàn)對石英的進一步提純。
