隔膜閥是一種特殊形式的截?cái)嚅y，其啟閉件是一塊用軟質(zhì)材料制成的隔膜，它將閥體內(nèi)腔與閥蓋內(nèi)腔隔開(kāi)。隔膜閥實(shí)際上不過(guò)是“鉗夾”的閥，一個(gè)彈性的，可擾的膜片，用螺椿連接在壓縮件上，壓縮件是由閥桿所操作而上下移動(dòng)，當(dāng)壓縮件上升，膜片就高舉，而造成通路，當(dāng)壓縮件下降，膜片就壓在閥體堰上（假使為堰式閥）或壓在輪廓的底部（假使為直通式），隔膜閥適用于開(kāi)關(guān)及節(jié)流之用。
