IITC 鉗式測(cè)痛儀是根據(jù) Randall-Selitto 理論設(shè)計(jì),是進(jìn)行炎癥足加壓實(shí)驗(yàn)的經(jīng)典儀器。

根據(jù) Randall-Selitto 法,將藥物添加在小實(shí)驗(yàn)動(dòng)物的炎癥足上。Randall-Selitto 測(cè)痛儀測(cè)量單元具有壓力傳感器,并通過(guò)液晶屏實(shí)時(shí)顯示測(cè)量參數(shù)。壓力施加器一端為彈性的尖形探頭,另一端平坦。使用時(shí)將動(dòng)物足部放入壓力施加器中間,對(duì)準(zhǔn)探頭,施加壓力。逐步提高作用于動(dòng)物爪子上的機(jī)械壓力,逼近動(dòng)物的疼痛閾限,當(dāng)動(dòng)物出現(xiàn)縮足反應(yīng)時(shí),儀器自動(dòng)測(cè)量并記錄壓力信號(hào),以g為單位。
與熱痛不同,該儀器用于機(jī)械壓痛和鈍痛的痛覺(jué)測(cè)量,常用于辨別左右爪不同的痛覺(jué)反應(yīng)。

Rodent Pincher allows researchers to measure and test pain threshold in a simple, accurate method when measuring pain nociception.
The system can be used on mice or rats and will measure and display in grams the amount of force that has been applied to the animals paw.
